Since everyone at TAMUK seems to have been getting stressed lately- including me- it is a very good thing that certain school sponsored events have come to our rescue. At least now people are not quite as freaked out!

Jav-a-palooza
This was basically the same silly blow up play-areas that are rented for rich kid's birthdays, but meant for college kids. The crowd that I hang with mainly stuck to playing dodgeball in the moon jump. That's right. Dodgeball. In a moon jump. Those things are indeed as cool as they sound!
After the event we all went to I-HOP. Being the poor person that I am, I had to borrow money from a buddy so I could get something. Luckily, that person is somewhat well-off, and had plenty to lend. The pancakes were pretty good, but the hanging out was better.

Spring Fling
This was very similar to the fall carnival. A bunch of clubs selling things to gain money. I know CSA did reasonably well, but no word yet on the other clubs that I am in. I tried to stay as relaxed as possible and took breaks from whatever booth I happened to be at whenever there was an interesting show. The most interesting one was probably Verderber (My English Professor) and his buddies showing off their fire breathing skill. One of the performers set half his face on fire. (Accidentally, I hope!) Verderber lit his shoulder on fire for a split second but the flaming rag quickly fell down onto the stage. Towards the end they started playing music that I am more familiar with (aka ROCK), so I sang/hummed along with some buddies.
